How to Make the Most out of Your Mani and Pedi

There’s nothing more rewarding than a well-deserved manicure and pedicure to cap off a full day of pampering at your favourite spa. That’s just the sort of relaxation a go-getting gal like you needs after an incredibly hectic work week! That said, here are a couple of tips to make the most out of your manicure/pedicure.
First, pick a suitable colour combination. Will it be a fresh and bright colour combination this time, or something more daring to commemorate your triumph over another challenge at work? If you’re not up for exploring some of today’s hottest nail trends, you can ask for a simple yet strong hue for your nails.

Trained manicurists advise against drenching the nails before the polish gets applied as fingernails tend to expand when soaked and contract once dried. A manicurist would typically begin by applying acetone after making sure that each nail is clean and free from any impurities.

Once the polish has been applied and has dried, see that adequate topcoat is applied. Doing so will effectively lengthen your manicure and pedicure’s lustre by as much as three days after getting the manicure. With these tips, you can walk out of the spa/salon feeling refreshed and ready for yet another exciting week.
