Skin Care Tips for Women

Having healthy, glowing skin is coveted by women all over the world. Exposure to pollution, stress, and genetic factors can make it difficult for any woman to maintain clear and flawless skin. Fortunately, acne, sunburns, and other skin blemishes can be prevented with the proper skin care routines and regimen.

Start a Daily Cleansing and Moisturising Regimen

Make a habit of washing your face clean every night. Not taking your make-up off before going to bed can cause your skin to dry, as well as break out with red spots and enlarged pores—all of which can add years to your appearance.

Long hot showers can remove essential oils from your body, which can create premature wrinkles on your face and skin. Limit your bath time and avoid using hot water. Gently pat your skin dry with a towel after washing to help retain some moisture, and prevent dry skin by using a good moisturiser.

Break Bad Habits

Unhealthy habits such as smoking can drastically decrease the smooth flow of blood to the body, reducing the supply of oxygen and nutrients necessary to keep your skin healthy. Quitting smoking can help keep wrinkles at bay, and make your face look brighter and younger.

Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle

Your lifestyle does affect the condition of your skin. Lack of sleep and a stressful environment can cause skin to become more sensitive to irritations and acne breakouts. Get the proper amount of sleep and maintain a healthy diet to ensure your skin gets the rest and nutrients that it needs.
